Purpose of Façade Grant

The purpose of the façade grand is intended to encourage reinvestment in commercial and mixed-use properties by supporting high-quality permanent exterior improvement.

This program helps local property owners and businesses make their buildings look better, safer, and more welcoming. The purpose is on improvements people can see from the street and that make our community more attractive. Routine maintenance and interior projects are NOT covered.

 

Key Benefits of This Grant for Your Project and Community

Applicants may receive up to 50% of eligible project costs, with a max of $5,000 per property.
All grants must be pre-approved before starting
Applications funded in order received, until funds run out.
The City of College Park approves the project as complete
The City of College Park in agreement with ONMA will grant awards upon completion and inspection of work.

  • Repair or replacement of storefront systems
  • Masonry Restoration
  • Cleaning or Painting
  • Installation or refurbishment of awnings/canopies
  • Exterior lighting upgrades
  • Modifications in compliance with ADA standards
  • Safety and visibility improvement
